First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study measured how many people in France had been infected with SARS-CoV-2 by testing their blood for antibodies. Nearly 97,000 participants from existing health studies provided samples to track infection rates and understand what factors influenced who got sick. The goal was to gather information, not to test a treatment or vaccine.
