Recovered Patients' blood tested as potential COVID-19 treatment

NCT ID NCT04333251

Summary

This early study aimed to test whether plasma (the liquid part of blood) from people who recovered from COVID-19 could help hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia. The idea was that antibodies in the recovered patients' plasma might help fight the virus in sick patients. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
