Can Survivors' blood antibodies predict COVID-19 recovery?

NCT ID NCT04497779

Summary

This study examines blood plasma from people who recovered from COVID-19 to understand their antibody levels and properties. Researchers are creating a plasma bank and analyzing whether specific antibody profiles in donated plasma correlate with better recovery outcomes in severely ill COVID-19 patients who receive these plasma transfusions. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve future treatments, not to directly test a new therapy.
