Summary
This study looked at how COVID-19 causes different symptoms in different people, from no symptoms to severe illness. Researchers used scans, blood tests, and lung washes to track inflammation in the heart, lungs, brain, and kidneys. The goal was to understand why some people get very sick while others recover easily. 202 adults with COVID-19 took part, with tests repeated after recovery.
