Summary

This study aimed to understand how the body's immune system responds after recovering from a SARS-CoV-2 infection, which causes COVID-19. Researchers enrolled 760 adults who had previously tested positive for the virus and followed them for up to a year. By taking blood and nasal samples, they measured different parts of the immune response to learn how it changes over time, information that can help improve future tests, treatments, and vaccines.
