Summary

This study followed 51 adults who survived severe COVID-19 pneumonia and needed a breathing machine in the ICU. Researchers checked their quality of life, physical function, muscle strength, and nutrition at 1, 6, and 12 months after leaving the hospital. The goal was to understand long-term recovery and how soon people could return to work.
