Summary

This study followed 51 adults who survived severe COVID-19 pneumonia and needed a breathing tube for more than 72 hours. Researchers measured their quality of life, ability to perform daily activities, muscle strength, and nutrition at 1, 6, and 12 months after leaving the hospital. The goal was to understand the long-term effects of intensive care and help design better follow-up care.
