Scientists track immune System's battle in critically ill COVID patients
NCT ID NCT04392401
Summary
This study aims to understand how the immune system changes over time in adults with severe COVID-19 who are in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will observe 200 patients to see how their immune response relates to complications like organ failure or secondary infections. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help identify future treatments and better predict patient outcomes.
