COVID heart damage: new program aims to stop silent killer
NCT ID NCT04983823
Summary
This study tests whether a special heart protection program can prevent heart failure in COVID-19 survivors over age 50. Participants will receive either the program (including exercise guidance, heart monitoring, and medication review) or usual care for two years. Researchers want to see if catching early heart changes and managing risk factors can stop heart failure from developing after COVID-19.
