Summary
This study looked at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected children, youth, and families dealing with eating disorders in Canada. Researchers tested virtual parent-led peer support groups to see if they could help reduce stress and improve support for parents. About 120 parents, youth, and healthcare workers shared their experiences through interviews. The goal was to understand the challenges families faced and whether online support groups were a helpful solution.
