Scientists check if COVID drugs harm your ears
NCT ID NCT07254442
Summary
This study looked at whether certain medications used to treat COVID-19, or the COVID-19 vaccine itself, might affect a person's hearing. Researchers compared hearing tests in three groups of young adults: those who had COVID-19 and took medication, those who had COVID-19 without medication, and those who never had COVID-19. The goal was to gather information, not to provide treatment.
