First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 02, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether certain medications used to treat COVID-19, or the COVID-19 vaccine itself, might affect a person's hearing. Researchers compared the hearing of 90 young adults who had COVID-19 (some took medication, some did not) to people who never had the virus. They performed detailed hearing tests to check for any changes.
