Vaccinated but still got COVID? study investigates why
NCT ID NCT05392075
Summary
This study aimed to understand how often fully vaccinated people still get COVID-19, known as a 'breakthrough infection.' Researchers looked at 100 adults who had received either two mRNA vaccine doses or the single-dose Janssen vaccine, and who later tested positive for COVID-19. The goal was to see if getting a booster shot changed the risk or timing of these infections.
