New booster shot tested for vulnerable adults
NCT ID NCT05303402
Summary
This study tested a new COVID-19 booster shot in adults with conditions that weaken their immune systems, like HIV or kidney disease. The goal was to see if the extra dose was safe and helped their bodies build a stronger defense against the virus. Researchers measured antibody levels in the blood over a year to check the immune response.
