Summary

This study aimed to understand how COVID-19 infections and vaccines affect people with autoimmune diseases like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers followed 293 adults and teens, some with autoimmune conditions and some healthy, for up to 18 months. They tracked changes in the immune system, blood vessels, and disease symptoms to learn how this group responds to the virus.
