NCT ID NCT06458933

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a new 12-session therapy for couples, called Sage, works better than standard individual therapy for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). The therapy involves both the person with BPD and their partner, aiming to improve BPD symptoms, reduce relationship conflict, and help the partner's mental health. Researchers will compare the two approaches in 152 couples over several months to see which is more effective.
