First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study involved 30 adults who had a transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Researchers used a special PET/CT scan to see how a radioactive tracer normally looks in the new valve area. The goal was to create a baseline of healthy scan patterns, which could help doctors better diagnose infections in these valves in the future.
