New counseling program aims to help veterans find better jobs and improve mental health

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new career counseling program to an existing job assistance program helps unemployed Veterans with mental health or substance use conditions. Researchers want to see if the combined approach helps more Veterans find stable, meaningful work and also improves their quality of life and mental health. The study will involve about 250 Veterans and compare the new combined program to the standard job program alone.
