Summary
This study tested a special phone counseling program designed for Latina women at high risk for hereditary breast or ovarian cancer. The goal was to see if this culturally-informed counseling could help women better understand their risk, reduce anxiety, and feel more in control. Researchers compared this counseling to standard scheduling calls to see which approach was more helpful.
