Could a simple device save kidneys and NHS money after heart surgery?
NCT ID NCT07108634
Summary
This study aimed to find out if a medical device called RenalGuard Therapy, which helps prevent kidney damage after heart surgery, is a good value for money for the UK's National Health Service. Researchers planned to analyze past medical records of heart surgery patients to compare costs and health outcomes between those who developed kidney problems and those who did not. The study was withdrawn before any patients were enrolled.
