Summary
This study looked at whether measuring cortisol in saliva works as well as measuring it in blood after taking a small steroid pill. Researchers compared 100 people with adrenal tumors and 100 healthy volunteers. The goal was to see if the simpler saliva test could accurately detect excess cortisol production.
