Summary
This study tested whether a steroid called prednisolone can improve lung function and quality of life in people with lasting lung damage after moderate to severe COVID-19. One hundred adults were randomly assigned to receive either the steroid or a placebo for one month, then followed for six months. The goal was to see if the treatment helps clear lung scarring and improve breathing.
