Summary

This study tests a brain implant that uses tiny electrodes to create flashes of light, called phosphenes, to help blind people see basic shapes and movement. It involves 5 adults with severe vision loss and focuses on safety and how well the device works. The goal is to provide a useful sense of vision, not a cure.
