Brain chip gives sight to the blind: pilot study launches

Summary
This pilot study tests a brain implant that uses tiny electrodes to create visual perceptions (phosphenes) in people who are completely blind. The goal is to provide a limited but useful sense of vision, like seeing shapes or movement. Five participants will be enrolled to check safety and how well the device works.
