First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at the best way to place stents in heart arteries that have blockages near side branches. It compares placing stents in both the main artery and the side branch versus stenting only the main artery and treating the side branch if needed. The goal is to see which approach reduces the risk of heart-related death, heart attacks, and the need for repeat procedures. The trial includes 450 adults with stable or unstable angina.
