First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a drug-coated balloon (DCB) for the side branch of a heart artery bifurcation after stenting works better than a standard balloon. It involves 784 adults with coronary artery disease and true bifurcation lesions. The goal is to see if DCB reduces major heart problems like heart attack or the need for repeat procedures within 12 months.
