First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares two types of corneal transplant surgery (UT-DSAEK and DMEK) to see which gives better vision for people with Fuchs dystrophy, a condition that clouds the cornea. It also tests whether a drug called rho-kinase inhibitor can help protect the new cells. 160 adults with Fuchs or similar corneal problems are taking part.
