Summary
This research aims to better understand the mechanical properties of eye tissue to improve laser vision correction surgery for nearsightedness. Researchers will study tissue normally discarded after surgery and compare it with special eye scans taken before surgery. The goal is to help surgeons plan more personalized procedures that could lead to more accurate vision correction results.
