Summary
This study aimed to compare a new, less painful method for diagnosing serious eye infections (microbial keratitis) with the current standard practice. The new method uses a soft membrane to collect germs from the eye surface, instead of a blade. The study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
