New corneal treatment could halt vision loss in thousands

Summary
This study tests the safety and effectiveness of a device called PXL-Platinum 330 for corneal cross-linking in people with keratoconus or similar conditions that cause the cornea to bulge and vision to worsen. The treatment aims to strengthen the cornea and stop the disease from getting worse. About 500 participants aged 10 and older will be enrolled, and the study will measure changes in vision and corneal shape over time.
