Doctors test Lab-Grown eye cells to restore vision

NCT ID NCT06726174

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new cell therapy for people with corneal endothelial dysfunction, a condition that causes cloudy vision. Doctors will grow healthy corneal cells from a donor in a lab and inject them into the patient's eye. The goal is for these new cells to attach and clear up the cloudiness, potentially improving vision without a full corneal transplant.
