Summary
This study looks at how eating corn bread made from whole grain or refined maize flour, along with mung bean stew, changes nutrient levels in the blood and affects muscle protein building. Twenty healthy adults aged 18-30 will eat the meal and have blood samples taken over three hours. The goal is to see which type of corn bread leads to better nutrient profiles and muscle protein synthesis.
