First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether core stability exercises or breathing muscle exercises can improve bone density in children with Down syndrome, who often have weaker bones. Sixty children aged 10 to 13 will be split into three groups: one doing standard physical therapy, one adding core exercises, and one adding breathing exercises. The goal is to find the best way to help them build stronger bones and reduce the risk of osteoporosis later in life.
