Simple core workouts may ease knee pain in young women

Summary
This study looks at whether adding core-strengthening exercises to a standard knee and hip exercise program can help reduce pain and improve knee alignment in women with patellofemoral pain syndrome (knee pain around the kneecap). Thirty-six women aged 19-35 with knee pain lasting over 6 weeks will participate. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain and improve function without surgery or medication.
