First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares two types of exercise—moderate-load eccentric core exercises and Pilates—to see which better reduces pain and improves movement in people with long-term low back pain. About 44 adults aged 18 to 45 with non-specific low back pain will take part in an 8-week supervised program. Researchers will measure pain, flexibility, core strength, and body awareness to find the most effective approach.
