NCT ID NCT07174076

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether a daily capsule made from cordyceps sinensis, a type of fungus, can stop a serious lung infection (MAC lung disease) from returning in adults who have already been cured. Three hundred participants will take either the cordyceps capsule or a placebo for 12 months, with regular checkups every 3 months. The goal is to see if this natural supplement can prevent bacterial recurrence and reduce the need for future treatments.
