Summary
This study tested a medication (citrate mixtures) to dissolve coral-like urate kidney stones in 49 patients. The goal was to see if the treatment could safely shrink or eliminate the stones without surgery. Researchers used CT scans to measure stone size and density, and checked kidney function with a blood test.
