First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether the nutritional supplement coenzyme Q10 can reduce symptoms and improve quality of life in people affected by the 2023 East Palestine, Ohio train derailment. Twenty adults who lived near the derailment and have ongoing health issues will take CoQ10 or a placebo for three months, then switch. The goal is to see if CoQ10 helps with symptom relief and physical function, and to gather data for a larger future study.
