One walk or two? study tests best way to measure COPD recovery
NCT ID NCT05850299
Summary
This study looked at whether performing two walking tests, instead of the usual one, at the end of a COPD rehabilitation program gives a more accurate picture of a patient's true abilities. Researchers compared the distance walked on a first and second test by 176 patients with moderate to severe COPD. The goal was to find the best testing method to reliably measure the benefits of rehab.
