New drug aims to cut COPD attacks in half

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called 9MW1911 to see if it can reduce the number of serious breathing flare-ups in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). About 360 adults aged 40 to 75 with moderate-to-severe COPD and a history of recent flare-ups will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure how many flare-ups occur over one year.
