New breathing treatment could help control COPD
NCT ID NCT07361653
Summary
This study is testing whether a new medical device called the Targeted Lung Denervation (TLD) catheter can help people with moderate to severe COPD breathe easier and have fewer serious flare-ups. Researchers will compare the real procedure to a sham (fake) procedure in 300 participants worldwide to see if it's safe and effective. The goal is to see if this one-time treatment can provide lasting control of COPD symptoms.
