First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental tablet called RSS0343 in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The goal is to see if it can safely reduce the number of moderate or severe flare-ups over 48 weeks. About 237 adults aged 40–80 with COPD will take either the drug or a placebo. This is a phase II trial, so it is still early, but results may lead to better daily control of COPD.
