Brazil launches major study to track severe COPD patients

Summary

This study follows 693 adults in Brazil with severe or very severe COPD to understand how often they are hospitalized, have flare-ups, or die. Researchers want to collect national data that currently doesn't exist. Participants will be observed over time, but no new treatments are being tested.
