NCT ID NCT03450603
Summary
This study aims to identify which patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are most likely to experience severe flare-ups. Researchers will follow 200 adults with COPD to understand the factors, including genetic ones, that predict a bad outcome from these episodes. The goal is to help doctors know which patients need closer monitoring and more intensive care plans to prevent serious complications.
