Can a Friend's voice or a story help COPD patients breathe easier?
NCT ID NCT05399056
Summary
This study aims to help people with COPD stick with their pulmonary rehabilitation program after a serious flare-up. It will test if watching videos of other patients' success stories or getting phone support from a trained peer who has been through rehab works better than standard encouragement. Researchers will enroll 305 adults to see which approach helps people attend more rehab sessions.
