Doctors test new way to measure COPD Patients' quality of life

NCT ID NCT01651676

Summary

This study tested whether a specific questionnaire could detect changes in quality of life for people with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Researchers had 57 patients with stable COPD fill out the questionnaire before and three months after starting a new long-acting breathing medication. The goal was to see if the questionnaire scores improved as patients' breathing and daily activities potentially got better with treatment.
