Scientists probe hidden muscle weakness in early lung disease
NCT ID NCT07249567
Summary
This study aims to understand how two lung conditions—COPD and a related pattern called PRISm—affect muscle strength, exercise ability, and how muscles use oxygen. Researchers will measure these factors in 60 people: those with COPD, those with PRISm, and healthy individuals for comparison. The goal is to gather new information to better understand these conditions, not to test a treatment.
