NCT ID NCT07394712
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a 3-month program of twice-weekly exercise and monthly education sessions can help people with COPD maintain the benefits they gained from an initial 8-week pulmonary rehab program. 86 adults aged 40-75 with moderate to severe COPD will be randomly assigned to either the maintenance program or standard care. Researchers will track symptoms, quality of life, and healthcare use over 12 months.

- What this could lead to
- If successful, this program could help people with COPD keep their symptoms and quality of life improvements for longer after completing pulmonary rehab.
