Breathing breakthrough? home rehab trial offers hope for housebound COPD patients
NCT ID NCT05664945
Summary
This study is testing two new ways to deliver pulmonary rehabilitation (a key treatment for COPD) to patients who are unable to attend traditional hospital or clinic programs. It will compare home-based rehab and video-guided tele-rehab against standard medical care to see which is better at relieving breathing symptoms and improving quality of life. The goal is to make this essential treatment accessible to more people with moderate to severe COPD.
