Home rehab for lung disease: can tech make it work?

NCT ID NCT05314686

Summary

This study tested a new home-based telerehabilitation system for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). First, researchers checked if exercise and activity data could be transmitted reliably from devices to a remote system. Then, they tested if patients could successfully complete an 8-week rehab program at home using the system, which included monitored exercise, strength training, and education.
