First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is for people with COPD who need steroid tablets for flare-ups at least three times a year. Participants get a half-day hospital check-up to ensure they have the right diagnosis and treatment, and to find other health problems that might be mistaken for COPD. The goal is to reduce the number of flare-ups and the amount of steroids needed over the next year, preventing harmful side effects.
