Half-Day 'MOT' aims to tame frequent COPD attacks
NCT ID NCT07460154
Summary
This study is testing if a detailed half-day health check can help people with COPD who have frequent, serious flare-ups. The check-up aims to ensure they are on the right COPD treatments, look for other hidden health problems, and create a personal plan. The goal is to reduce the number of flare-ups needing steroid pills over the next year, which could also cut down on harmful side effects from those steroids.
