Researchers test simple stepper as new way to track COPD rehab progress
NCT ID NCT01759199
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-minute stepper test, which can be done in a regular room, could effectively measure changes in exercise ability for people with COPD during a 3-week pulmonary rehabilitation program. Researchers compared it to the standard walking test that requires a long hallway. The goal was to find a more convenient way for doctors to track patient progress during rehab.
